Kathy Azar has been creating memories for my family for almost a decade. Initially she worked with my two children (9th grade daughter & 4th grade son) on individual and group portraits. They are still some of my favorite pictures of my children to this day because Kathy captured expressions that epitomized who my kids were at that time. She put them both at ease while being very professional in her camera work and setting selections. Our session was held on Kathy’s property in fall.
When it came time for my daughter’s senior portraits we both wanted to work with Kathy. She listened to my daughter and made suggestions for location, hair, wardrobe and accessories that turned out beyond my and my daughter’s greatest expectations. This session was held at Willowbrook Farm in Malvern in fall.
Finally, we have worked most recently on individual and family portraits with Kathy at The Foundry in Phoenixville in summer. I was so happy with them they both hang in my home and were distributed in Christmas cards that year.
We will be booking again for my son’s senior portrait in the future!

West Chester East Football Media/Photography Coordinator
Kathy has been taking sports photographs of our football games and players for the past 5 years. She has evolved into our primary photographer for the team and now does all our action and portrait photography! I have had the pleasure of working with her as the Media/Photography Coordinator on the Booster Board for the West Chester East High School Football team. When Kayelee's Senior year was quickly approaching I knew that she would be as thrilled as I was to find someone to take her Senior portraits for us. I also knew that whomever we found would need to be as inspired and talented as Kayelee herself and would need to be willing to do what Kayelee had envisioned. When we spoke with Katherine Azar for the first time we immediately knew she would be the photographer to get the job done. The entire photo session was a breeze and she made it so fun and relaxing. The location Katherine chose was just beautiful. Everything Kayelee was hoping to have from the stone house, open fields and covered bridge were all a part of her session. The ideas she prepared for Kayelee made this the best photo session we have ever had. I was amazed by the amount of photos we had to choose from in the end. She definitely made it hard to narrow down our favorites. I am forever grateful to Katherine for making Kayelee's senior portraits so naturally beautiful and truly special for her. We love so many of them and would definitely recommend her to family and friends.

Kathy Azar's sports photography is the best! In the Spring at the East High School Girls' Lacrosse Senior Night, my daughter and I were in awe of the banners Kathy created to honor the seniors. Our yearly family portrait session with Kathy Azar is one of our favorite holiday traditions. Each location she chooses tops the location from the year before, and the portraits make for incredible Christmas cards.
